CleanCraft began as a two-person family venture. Today, more than 400 team members clean several million square feet across Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse daily. Yet our purpose hasn’t changed: create quality of life and peace of mind for every client we serve.
Back in the early 1990s, Ty and Stephanie Hookway noticed the same complaint from local businesses: “The cleaners never show up, or when they do, the details slip.” They launched CleanCraft with a used van, a handful of supplies, and a promise of consistency over quick wins.
First big break: an evening contract at a Rochester university building.
Added industrial plant services; invested in ride-on scrubbers.
Expanded to Buffalo and Syracuse; surpassed 1 million sq ft cleaned daily.
Rolled out CleanCraft Connect app and crossed 5,000+ jobs completed.
